{late friday musings & hello}

hello-header2
ny-eye-poetry1

. . . hello! . . . the week has very much gotten away, as you can imagine [where does the time go?], but as the philosophy here is always better late than never, shall still share a few last and lovely things before the weekend, even as most have already dashed off for much-anticipated after-office cocktails, but in the event there are a few moments here & there, stop by if you like, especially for the beautiful diy had mentioned earlier in the week . . .

à bientôt‎ / see you soon, —roséline xo

{take me away № 19 | barcelona, spain}

The second largest city in Spain, Barcelona has a history that dates back long, long ago—2000 years ago, in fact, with a spellbinding vibe of light, passion, culture and character.

Here, somehow, the heavenly Mediterranean sunlight is seemingly more delicious when set against beguiling architecture, narrow alleyways, expansive waters, and in the gleam of each and every Barcelonian's eye.

Indeed, this seaside city calls visitors from near and far to walk alongside the works of great visionaries, of natural wonders, breathtaking points, and countless sights; to live as locals do, and to breath in the beautiful story of such an indescribably fascinating city . . .

{at the office: inspirational workspaces}

all-in-a-days-work-hed

. . . and it would seem that everything has been running a few hours behind since the week began, although suppose it's always the case when one has been away for a while, but happily, a side affect of having been away is returning with a new and beautiful energy, overflowing with inspiration, and with so many lovely things to share, that can hardly work quickly enough . . .

{p.s.} in other words, running very, very behind today and a new {favourite five}, still & soon! x

{out the door & a quick hello}

hello-header

. . . hello! it's lovely to see you again, and after an early morning show, followed by a mad dash across town to another in the afternoon, and lunch with laily at pastis, finally, a few [very brief] moments of repose to stop by and say hello, before the champagne pours at tonight's soirées . . . and apologies for the absence -- have been having a bit of time keeping up with the days, and so, posting may, regrettably, be a little off-schedule this week . . .

hope you're having a beautiful week so far & à bientôt, roséline xo

{p.s.} if you follow along on twitter, a few glimpses here & there

{two lovely things: ruggedly refined}

two lovely things
black-leather-sofa

. . . it's always interesting when one's tastes begin to change, however imperceptibly, and even if only for a moment . . . here, one has come to expect light and bright and a glittery glimmer; a dash of ornateness and maximalist tendencies -- and yet -- inexplicably drawn to the soft black leather and dark, heavy drapery of these rooms, rugged, and yet refined, beckoning and yet a little mysterious . . .

pools-of-light

{or perhaps it is lure of bright panelled walls and perfect pools of light?}

......................................................................................................

{p.s.} recent two lovely things:
* books & blossoms
* gilded chalkboards & garden sheds
*
green & white
* open shelves & elegant black
* bar carts & blossoms

* books & bouquets
* a paris apartment & hermès
* secret gardens & on the terrace

{décor inspiration: french chic}

je-ne-sais-quoi
sleep

. . . soaring ceilings and chevron floors, juliet balconies and a luxuriously grand and perfectly ornate gilt mirror, and most of all, the dusky, smokey, sexy french-ness of it all . . .

"Paris is always a good idea."
~ audrey hepburn

. . . hello!
. . . things have been rather sporadic around here this week, with valentine's day on monday, finishing projects, last-minute preparations, and an ever-overflowing stream of emails, but most excitingly, cases to pack and a flight to catch, and now, a few beautiful days in paris . . .

uncertain when there next will be a moment to say hello, and so, for now, a fond farewell and à la prochaine,
xo
