. . . lately have been falling back on the always classic and utterly elegant french dots for design inspiration, on sheer white blouses and bed linens, on legs, and certainly on pretty table tops, made for lingering on late-summer nights . . .

. . . have been spending most of the summer in pretty lacy dresses and perfectly pleated skirts, but after seeing so many lovely pairs of scalloped shorts everywhere, and happening upon this vibrant electric blue romper, may spend the rest of these beautiful summer days in sexy little shorts instead . . .

{décor inspiration: a kiss of colour}

. . . monday, monday, and utterly inspired by this beautiful entryway -- the enchanting framed wallpaper fragment and antique french chest, the warm wood panelled walls and rich chevron floors . . . and not certain if it is because it is february or the approach of valentine's day, but lately, have been dreaming of painting the walls the palest shade of pink . . .





. . . of course, the next best thing would be glimpses of colour set against pale and perfectly pretty neutrals . . .
